Girvan’s Winter Cosy Spaces is Back!
We’re delighted to share that Winter Cosy Spaces returns to Girvan Town House, 25 Knockcushan St, from Tuesday, 28th October until Tuesday, 31st March 2026, running every Tuesday from 11am to 3pm.
The Winter 2025/26 Cosy Spaces Programme has been made possible by an award from the Girvan & South Carrick Locality Planning Small Grants Fund and complementary financial support from the Girvan Town Team.
All are welcome to attend.
Each week, attendees can enjoy free refreshments, including teas and coffees, as well as freshly made soup and sandwiches, all served in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with a touch of live music to brighten even the chilliest days.
Pam Holmes, Lead Volunteer, said:
“We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Cosy Spaces 2025 Winter Programme. All ages are welcome — and if you play a musical instrument, please bring it along and join in the fun!”
Over the past few years, Cosy Spaces has made a real difference in our community, offering warmth, good food, and companionship during the colder months. The success of the project is down to the wonderful volunteers who give their time each week to prepare and serve food with a smile, ensuring everyone who walks through the door feels at home.
With up to 70 people attending each week, the sessions have helped form new friendships and strengthen old ones, proving that a warm drink and good company can do wonders for wellbeing.
The Girvan Town Team is proud to continue supporting this fantastic project and looks forward to another season of connection, laughter, and community spirit at Cosy Spaces in Girvan.
Girvan Town Team’s Role
