Girvan Town Team Proud to Support South Ayrshire Field of Heroes Installation
Girvan Town Team proudly sponsors a silhouette at the South Ayrshire Field of Heroes in Ayr this July. Commemorating the 110th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, the free installation features 130 life-sized military silhouettes with QR codes sharing the stories of local soldiers. Daily guided tours by historians and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission offer a moving tribute to those who served.
